Yes, the Cd is done. It should be available for purchase through CD Baby in a few days. Overall, this project sounds bigger. Bigger in a good way. Not the compressed to the ceiling sound you typically hear on today's major label recordings. Better microphones and studio I guess.
I'm going to shift gears for a little while and write some garage type rock with a coworker at the library. I bought a Gibson SG and Marshall JTM 45 just for the occasion! We plan on hitting the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky club circuit once we finish up about ten songs.
Anyway, I think you'll like my newest release. Play it loud and proud. See you at my next show.

With mixing and mastering just about complete, I am estimating the new Cd will be on the "store shelves" by mid June. The musicians did a great job. The instruments definitely work well together. The last minute addition of Rachel Schott on fiddle was a nice call on the part of engineer Todd Buck. I think you'll like what you hear!
Also, watch for the live concert (Joel's Psychedelic Sock Sessions) that was filmed at Cincinnati station CET studio to air sometime in June. The show will be part of their KidsClub fund drive.

I am currently finishing up vocals for my next CD, The Biggest Everything in the World. I have an awesome producer, Jason Erickson guiding this project so I think you're all in for a real treat. The songs so far are sounding more straight ahead rock and roll than ACTIVATE! Heavier guitars, drums and if we can snag him, Kenny Cowden on harmonica. I'll keep you all posted on the progress.
